Ringsend & Irishtown Youth Service operates from RICCYS youth center based in the district of Dublin 4. RICCYS support the rights and needs of young people and holds as central their active and voluntary participation.
We engage with young people in what we believe to be empowering relationships in a safe and healthy environment, based on mutual respect and trust in order to respond to their identified and changing needs in today’s society.
Our mission is to promote young people’s personal growth and development, to enable them to make informed life choices in an ever changing society, while working towards the enhancement of their own and community lifestyles.
What we offer;
RICCYS run fun developmental programmes over school mid-terms and use the time to promote building strong relationships with young people and promote their creative skills taking part in many of our themed events throughout the year.
Join one of our many drop in sessions that we run in RICCYS youth café. We use this time to get to know the young people and explore other programmes and opportunities based on the needs of our members.
Developmental programmes that we deliver for young people range from volunteer training, education & employment programmes, STEM projects and any other area that meets the growing needs of young people.
If you are interested in joining our service and you are of the age of 10-24 years old please get your parent or guardian to fill out our membership form below. If you are over 18 you can fill this in for yourself.
We assure the safety and safeguarding of all young people. At RICCYS all our staff are fully trained in all aspects of working with young people. Please find below our child safeguarding statement
